Royster Competition Information

The Royster competition is made possible by the generous support of Larry and Julia Royster. This is a chapter-run poster competition held once a year for a total of $5000 in scholarships.


Full-time graduate students enrolled in a program involving acoustics, or senior undergraduate students expecting to enroll in such a program are eligible to submit entries.

Posters on Hearing Conservation or Noise Control topics are eligible, including:


 Sound Surveys

 Engineering & Administrative Controls

 Hearing Protection

 Audiometric Evaluations
