Casey Brock, undergraduate physics student at the Austin Peay State University, presents his work, ``The Diatonic Harmonica, Pipe Resonators, and the Siren.'' Morgan Smathers, undergraduate physics student at the Rhodes College, presents her work, ``Optimal Gate Delay for Ultrasonic Backscatter Measurements.''.
Joseph McPherson, undergraduate physics student at Rhodes College, presents his poster entitled, ``Effect of Gate Delay on the Frequency Dependence of Ultrasonic Backscatter Measurements of Bone.'' John Lahmann, undergraduate physics student at the University of Central Arkansas, presents his poster entitled, ``A Trigger for a Helmholtz Resonator.''
Skipper Thurman, undergraduate physics student at the University of Central Arkansas, gives a presentation entitled ``The Design and Fabrication of a Sensor Array for Aeroacoustic Measurements.'' This work was performed at the National Center for Physical Acoustics as part of the Summer 2011 Basic Acoustics Summer School (BASS) program. Tristan Odekirk, undergraduate physics student at at the University of Central Arkansas, examines a small accordion during James Cottingham's presentation on free reed instruments.
Rasheed Adebisi, graduate student at the National Center for Physical Acoustics, gives a presentation entitled ``High Temperature Elastic Moduli Trends of Lanthanum Telluride and Lead Telluride Thermoelectric Alloys.'' Sumudu Tennakoon, graduate student at the National Center for Physical Acoustics, gives a presentation entitled ``Polymer Based Acoustic Emission Sensors and Sensor Characterization.''
Cameron Ehn, graduate student at the USDA-ARS Hydraulic Engineering Research Unit, gives a presentation entitled ``Laboratory Measurments of Acoustic, Electrical Resistivity, and Erodability of Soils as a Function of Compaction.'' Leti Wodajo, graduate student at the National Center for Physical Acoustics, gives a presentation entitled ``The Use of Seismic Tomograms for the Identification of Internal Problems with Earthen Dams and Levees.''
Bradley Goodwiller, graduate student at the National Center for Physical Acoustics, gives a presentation entitled ``An Investigation of the Use of Ultrasound to Control Nuisance Species in Commercial Aquaculture Settings.'' Alexander Ekimov (National Center for Physical Acoustics) gives a presentation entitled ``Rhythm Algorithm Application for Music.''
Josh Gladden (National Center for Physical Acoustics) gives a presentation entitled ``Cosmic Acoustics to Earthquakes.'' Joel Mobley (National Center for Physical Acoustics) gives a presentation entitled ``Catching up with superluminal sound.''
Dave Woolworth (Oxford Acoustics) gives a presentation entitled ``Preliminary Suggestions for Limitation of Pulsing Low Frequency Content in Noise Ordinances.'' Dan Scott gives a presentation entitled ``Some Hazardous Acoustical Things You and Others Might Not Think Of.''
