Spring Meeting: March 12-13, 2010 in Conway, AR.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS! Join us at the University of Central Arkansas, in Conway Arkansas, for a MidSouth regional meeting of the Acoustical Society of America. All scientists, engineers, acousticians, teachers and students who are interested in acoustics, sound or vibration may attend or present. There will be an opportunity to present research papers or posters on both days.

Friday, March 12th
- 1:00 - 2:00PM : Meeting Registration
- 2:00 - 5:00PM : Afternoon Session
- 5:00 - 7:00PM : Dinner in downtown Conway
Saturday, March 13
- 7:30 - 8:30AM : Registration Coffee & Donuts
- 8:00 - 10:00AM : Morning Session
- 10:00 - 10:45AM : Break & Poster Session
- 10:45 - 11:30AM : Morning Session
- 11:30 - 12:30PM : Lunch & Business Meetings
- 12:30 - 3:00PM : Afternoon Session
Abstract Submission - Please click here to submit your oral or poster abstract for the meeting online. Abstracts are due by Saturday, February 27th. Presenters must also register for the meeting at the link below.
Meeting Registration - A $10 meeting registration fee (which doubles as chapter membership dues) is payable at the meeting. Student registration and membership is free. The registration fee helps to offset the cost of providing lodging for students to attend the meeting. Please click here to register for the meeting. All meeting attendees must register for the meeting. You can also register on site.
Meeting Proceedings - Meeting proceedings with be available after abstracts have been collected.
Meeting Location - The meeting will be held on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas located in Conway, AR. A campus map and directions to the university are available here. More information about Conway AR may be found here and here.
Lodging - Hotel accommodations are the responsibility of meeting attendees, however, the chapter will provide five rooms for students. Depending on availability students may be asked to share a room. Please indicate your need for accommodation on your meeting registration form. The rooms for students will be reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn. Please email me at the address below to confirm room availability.
